How much is the room rental fee and what does it cover?
The Chestnut Room is contracted for a 5-hour period of time at a room rental fee of $1500 for Fridays, Saturday evenings and Sundays. The rental fee for a Saturday afternoon is $1000. Anytime beyond the 5 hours is subject to a $250 per hour room rental fee. Afternoon functions may start at 11:00 AM or 11:30. Afternoon functions may not exceed 4:30 PM. Evening functions may start between 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM and may not extend past midnight.
Rental fee includes coordinator, food tasting for bride and groom, setup, cleanup, linens, wait staff, bartender, cake cutting and champagne toast for the wedding party. Also included are two complimentary weekday rounds of golf.
Anytime beyond the contracted 5 hours is subject to a $250.00 per hour room rental fee.

Can I bring my own food or alcohol?
Food preparation is supervised by our chef in our own kitchen to assure hot food and prompt service. Customers may not supply their own food or alcoholic beverages. This includes small bottles of wine used as favors.
Is there a minimum number of guests required?
There is no minimum number of guests required to rent The Chestnut Room. We do, however, require a minimum food expenditure of $3000 for Friday nights, Saturday afternoons, and Sundays. The mininum food expenditure for a Saturday evening wedding is $4500.
Can I place a tentative hold on the room?
We may hold your date for up to one week. Contact your wedding coordinator to temporarily hold your date. If another party becomes interested in the date you have held, we will contact you at that time to give you the first option to place a deposit. We do not consider a date booked until we receive the initial deposit.
How do I secure my function date?
To reserve your date, we require a non-refundable deposit of $1000.00 along with your contract confirming the room, date, and time of your reception.
Can I pay with credit card?
Blissful Meadows Golf Club accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express as forms of payment for the initial deposit only. Full payment is required 7 days prior to your reception in the form of a certified bank check, money order or cash only.
What is the payment plan following the initial deposit, and when is my guest count due?
Your general guest count is due 14 days in advance of your reception. The guaranteed count is due 7 days in advance and cannot be reduced, regardless of the number of guests that actually attend the reception. Full payment is required 7 days prior to your reception in the form of cash, certified check, or money order made out to Meadowview Tavern. We do not accept credit cards for final payments.
Can I make substitutions within the wedding menu?
Blissful Meadows Golf Club is very flexible with our wedding menu. Vegetarian and children's meals are available upon request. We are happy to discuss any substitutions you may request.
How many people are seated at each table and when is my seating chart due?
Our tables comfortably seat up to eight or nine guests. Your seating arrangement is due with your final payment, 7 days in advance of your reception.
ADDITIONAL POLICIES & RESTRICTIONS
We do not allow the use of rice, birdseed, confetti, etc. Please make your guests aware of this restriction so you do not incur an additional expense for cleaning.
Any changes in timing or any special requests must be pre-approved.
Blissful Meadows and Meadowview Tavern and there employees are not responsible for gifts and envelopes. Please bring an appropriate receptacle for your gift cards and assign a responsible person to keep them safe.
All smoking is prohibited in the building. All candle flames must be enclosed. Open flames and pyrotechnics are not allowed at any time, under any circumstance.
Prices are subject to change. Prices for the current year are determined each January. You will be obligated to pay the prices determined for the year your wedding is taking place.
